Investor Relations Associate

Maxwell Biosciences is a preclinical anti-infective biotechnology platform company committed to building a passionate, mission-oriented team dedicated to the development of therapeutics for otherwise untreatable, life-threatening pathogenic diseases. Maxwell’s CLAROMER™ biotechnology platform is confirmed in preclinical animal models to act on otherwise untreatable, life threatening infections and cancers, and appears to be well tolerated in preclinical animal models.

The Investor Relations Associate is a key role in Maxwell, supporting and expanding the Investor Relations function to broaden and enhance shareholder value and the organization’s financial image.  As you contribute to a superlative investor and stakeholder communications program, you will help shape and manage how we position ourselves and interact with private and institutional investors, research analysts, and investment bankers.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team of professionals who support and respect each other and are truly purpose-driven.  You will work closely with our Director of Investor Relations and interface with our senior leadership team and key contacts throughout the organization while building trust and credibility with all people both internally and externally.

Key Requirements

  • Maintain and further develop a positive public image for the organization

  • Build relationships and work cross-functionally with other parts of the organization to understand company progress and incorporate information into appropriate materials

  • Assist investor liaisons in helping answer investor and shareholder inquiries

  • Help with speaking engagement and conference planning

  • Develop presentations, communications, and other materials for stakeholder interactions such as regular updates and/or earnings calls, conferences, investor meetings, our data room / data package, and website pages

  • Maintain detailed tracking of investor, analyst, and key stakeholder interactions, while developing and executing on strategies to maintain consistent engagement with the external community

  • Identify and assess networking and other opportunities to build and execute the investor relations function

  • Coordinate investor conference participation, including communications and meeting management

  • Support the formulation and scheduling of investor relations meetings and field questions that may arise before, during, and after the meetings

  • Assist with the production of quarterly and annual shareholder reports

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree 

  • At least 2 years of Investor Relations or comparable work experience

  • Experience with biotechnology, life sciences, and capital / equity markets, highly preferred
